As school season starts the tarpon flats of north Florida are still teaming with fish but have less pressure than the summer break months. This time of year is allot of fun with nice weather and low guide pressure. We still get migratory strings as well as lot’s of fish that call this estuary home during the warm months. The fishery is wide open with locations to find the fish laid up or swimming the edges. Come stay in Apalachicola for good night life or enjoy any of the surrounding area houses on the beach for rent. August and September Panhandle fly fishing is in full swing. I have some dates available in August and September. Contact me to lock your dates in the calendar for the second season on the Panhandle.
