Well the month of October is gone but it left us with lasting memory’s of blue sky’s, clear water, no wind, and schooled up Bull Redfish. The perfect weather just seemed to be relentless! The wind just could not manage to best 10 mph all month allowing for some very adventuresome fly fishing. I honestly don’t think I even spotted a single cloud in the last 31 day’s. The Big Redfish moved into the marsh in large numbers in late September and have been very content with their surroundings ever since. Popper’s have been the choice fly for these Bull’s wherever you located them as the water resembled a mirror. It’s Voodoo Fest here in New Orleans tonight with bands from around the globe and Pretty Lights takes the stage right now! Gonna be a cool scene tonight. Tomorrow we will be several day’s into November and the weather continues to cool causing the marshes waters clear a few more shades towards perfection. Looking forward to November – April and Louisiana’s Bull Redfish.
