A windy morning in the Biloxi Marsh outside New Orleans yielded some nice early fall Redfish.  We have had unseasonal winds out of the east the last few days here in the Marsh due to the Low pressure running up the west coast of Florida.  These winds have pushed very high tides onto the east side of the Mississippi River.  We have been catching fish where you could normally walk without getting wet.  Tailing Redfish where the ground is normally bone dry is site to see needless to say.  We had a great day and managed to catch a Louisiana Grand Slam which consists of a Redfish, Blackdrum, and Trout!!  The forecast returns to normal October Marsh weather this evening.  Perfect weather for Fly Fishing!
