January is right around the corner and the Louisiana marsh is teaming with huge bull redfish now that winter has its hold on the region. The shallow waters of the marsh are now hovering around the truly large Louisiana Bull’s comfort range. The fish are happy and feeding on the surface in plane view. I love this time of year fly fishing up here on the northern gulf. Lot’s of beautiful high pressure systems. We have had a great season so far Louisiana fly fishing and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Louisiana had a few tough seasons the last two years but we seem to have weathered the hardships and are currently being blessed with Louisiana fly fishing of old. If you have never experienced this fishery and what it offers let me invite to come enjoy New Orleans and the Redfish that have made the place a destination on every fly anglers list. January and February dates available! Contact me today to lock down your day’s!
