Another great January in the books. I love this month here in the Louisiana Marsh. Cool clean waters make for great sight fishing opportunities to these big Redfish we have daily here in Louisiana. Bull Redfish are plentiful in the Marsh during the fall and winter months. They are here because the shallow nutrient rich water’s of the marsh are safe and comfortable during these months. The food is abundant and the living is easy. The fish are seen meandering around enjoying a meal whenever it presents itself. The water is so clean during the winter months as the air temperatures stay in the perfect range to keep the water temperatures in the 50’s – low 60’s just right for sighting Redfish.
